José Manuel MatosJosé earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from the Technical University of Lisbon in 1996 and has been a member of the Portuguese Architects Association since then. Represents over 23 years experience in all sectors of Architecture, urban planning, including Real Estate and interior design.
Founded the Matos Architects firm, early in his career he distinguished himself by becoming one of the youngest Architects working in Social Urban Regeneration programs in Lisbon area. Subsequently, he immersed himself in the world of Urban Design and Public Spaces, after studying Urban Design at Barcelona University. At that fowling years, he worked as Consultant, was invited to be a Guest Speaker at International Architecture Symposium`s and Internationals Conferences about Public Space and Urban Regeneration. In 2011, was selected by Loulé Municipality and Lusort for architecture award, in Vilamoura Algarve, Portugal. Those ventures enabled him to build a unique network of best trades allowing him to develop his own craft also in interior design. Today, his broad based experience and training allows gave him an opportunity to experience many situations to understand the market and thoughtfully solving clients challenges. |
